How can you make sure all families receive encouragement in supporting the development of their children?

Encouragement can be received through an honest and constant stream of communication between teachers and parents. Being able to communicate work that is being done on both sides with the child is encouraging in itself when results are present and obvious due to the parents working with the teachers and vice versa.

Every parent wants to know that their child is doing well and receiving the best care. Our job is to come alongside parents and work with them to do that. The best, and simplest way to ensure encouragement and a good relationship between parents and teachers is keeping constant and honest open communication with them about their child. If we don’t ever let parents know how their child is growing, learning, and developing while in our care, then we are not doing our job. Keeping an open communication with parents helps to bring them into their child’s development while at school, and benefits the student by connecting home and school into one learning environment.

No matter what family you are dealing with, every parents wants to make sure they are getting the best possible care for their child and that they are being treated equally! that being said, our job is to work together with one another and nurture and educate the mind of every child, while working along side the parents to raise them! Communication with parents is key to a healthy relationship and a healthy child! meeting the needs of their child along side the parent is very important!
