As a learner I may not know everything needed for this profession. NAEYC code of ethics helps me in having a clear vision about being professional and helps in making decisions in tough situations.It describes our relationships with children, family, colleagues and community.

NAYEYC code of ethics sets high standards for teachers to look up to in order to help them be professional. No matte r how passionate you are about children and teaching, we all need guidance in some areas of our profession. For some it might be how we deal with parents, for others it may be how we set up our classroom, etc.

I use the NAEYC code of ethics as a resource, as well as guidebook for when I need reassurance or some help. It hold s a good base of knowledge how best practices in how to act professionally in an early childhood environment.

It helps me just knowing there is a reputable organization who has the welfare of children as their core principle. The code of ethics reassures me that my colleagues and i are held accountable for achieving high standards of care. Leave a Reply. |
