HIV Is transmitted through contact with contaminated blood, semen, and vaginal fluids. It is not transmitted by casual contact with a person who is infected with HIV. The four most common methods of HIV transmission include sexual contact, sharing needles, blood-to-blood contact, and mother-to-baby infection.
